Rigid Gas Permeable Lenses

Rigid gas permeable lenses (RGP or hard contact lenses) are made from hard plastics that transmit oxygen. These days they are generally used in special cases for: very high myopia, hyperopia and/or astigmatism, Orthokeratology, Keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, post surgery and other eye conditions.

Orthokeratology

Hard contact lenses that are worn overnight, used for reducing the progression of myopia (short-sightedness) and for correction of vision during the day.
