VitroCap® is a clinically tested micro-nutritional health supplement for the treatment of vitreous eye-floaters.
Eye-floaters are a common problem experienced by many people - particularly those over the age of 50.
Characterised by small shapes floating in the field of vision, eye-floaters are caused by structural changes in the vitreous of the eye (the clear jelly-like substance that fills the space within the eyeball).
Whilst it is rare for eye-floaters to cause significant health problems, for many of people living with them, they are at best an irritation affecting their overall quality of life and at worst the cause of considerable impairment to their eyesight.

What are eye-floaters?
Eye floaters are the small strands, dots, flecks or "cobwebs" that drift around your field of vision. They can occur at any age but tend to affect those over the age of 50 and are more common in people who are short sighted or who have had cataract surgery.
What causes eye-floaters?
As we grow older, the protein that makes up the jellylike vitreous starts t9 breakdown becoming more liquid and the collagen fibres clump together. The appearance of eye-floaters is created by the shadows from these clumps cast on the retina as light passes through the eye.
If you see a flash however, it may be because the vitreous has come away from the retina and it is important that you seek immediate medical advice.
What treatment is there?
In most instances eye-floaters are considered harmless in the medical sense and therefore it is recommended that suffers learn to live with them. If the problem becomes more serious however a vitrectomy (surgery where the vitreous is removed and replace it with a salt solution) maybe suggested.

VitroCap® capsules contain a specially prepared formulation of plant extracts, vitamin C and the amino acid L-lysine, based on an increased need for specific nutrients in the eyes of people suffering from a degeneration of the vitreous.
These micro-nutrients help to maintain and restore the normal collagen structure within the vitreous, and thereby help relieve discomfort experienced from floater disturbances.
